Access: A long path from the road leads to Tep Prename.
Tip: This is one of the most serene areas in the park of Angkor. A
visit to this area should not be rushed and should also include Prah
Palilay

LAYOUT The
entrance to Tep Pranam is marked by a laterite causeway bordered by double
boundary stones at the corners and a terrace in the shape of a cross. The
sandstone walls of the base of the temple have a molded edging. Two lions
precede the walls and there are serpent balustrades, which are of a later
date. See map page 80.
BUDDHA The
large Buddha seated on a lotus pedestal is in a molded base and coated in
sandstone. The body of the Buddha has been reassembled from numerous
stones.
