La Villa was constructed in the 1930's by a tradesman from Battambang, this colonial architecture was very fashionable during the French colonial period. The proprietor, Mr Eap Heo later bequeathed his home to his two youngest children who then lived in the residence till the coup d'etat in 1975.

 

After the Khmer rouge period, the house became the general quarters for the Vietnamese army. It was given to a Cambodian general after their departure.

 

For many years, the house was partially leased and squatted before it was sold in 2004 to a young expatriate couple who were mesmerized by the charm and beauty of this ancient house.

 

After significant renovations, the house and its outbuildings regained its splendor in the form of a charming 7 bedroom guest house with a swimming pool that will captivate anyone that would like to re-live and experience an Indochinese atmosphere. We have recreated the same ambiance that the house would have had in the 1930's with Art deco furniture, electrical equipment from that era such as the fans, and old photos that have changed in color due to the passing of time. 

There are 7 rooms available (6 in the main house and 1 in the house nearby the swimming pool*), all unique, decorated with Art deco furniture, antiques and photographs from that era. :

Room 1: located in the ground floor in main building, room size 30 sqm with single, double and the room is success from the garden and garden view, equipped with the bathtub with hot/cold water.

Room 2: located in the ground floor in main building size 30sqm, the occupation is single, double, access by the lobby, the room with shower with hot/cold water.

Room 3: Located 1st floor, In the main building, room size 60 sqm, the room occupation: single double, twin or triple (1 king size bed + 1 or 2 single beds), the room with the bathtub and View on the quay and the river.

Room 4:  located in the 1st in the main bulding, room size 60sqm, room occupation: single, double, twin or triple (1king size bed+ 1 or 2 single beds), the room with balcony and view on the quay and the river.

Room 5: Located In the 2nd floor main building, room size 45sqm, room occupation single, double, twin or triple (1 king size bed + 1 single bed), the room is river view.

Room 6: Located In the 2nd floor, main building, room size 45sqm(1king size bed + 1 single bed), the room is river view and terrace.

Room 7: Located In the side building, the room Size 27, 50 sqm(single, double), access by the garden and swimming-pool view, and private terrace face to swimming pool.
