Cambodian DPM Men Sam An Back Home

Cambodian Permanent Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Assembly-Senate Relations and Inspection H.E. Mrs. Men Sam An returned home yesterday after paying a four-day official visit in Vietnam to enhance the bilateral cooperation in the inspection sector.

During her stay in Hanoi, H.E. Mrs. Men Sam An was received by Vietnamese Prime Minister H.E. Nguyen Tan Dung, who affirmed that Vietnam is always a reliable and faithful neighbor of Cambodia.

The Cambodian deputy prime minister also held talks with Vietnamese Inspector General H.E. Huynh Phong Tranh. Both sides shared experiences in inspection work, dealing with complaints and fighting corruption.

After Hanoi, H.E. Mrs. Men Sam An visited Bac Ninh, a northern province of Vietnam, where she met with Chairman of the Bac Ninh provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Nhan Chien.

Mr. Nguyen Nhan Chien briefed the Cambodian deputy prime minister of the socioeconomic development of Bac Ninh and shared with her the province’s experience in inspection, meeting citizens and handling complaints and denouncements.
