ANGKOK, 27 August 2013: Nok Air will start a new service linking Bangkok (Don Mueang Airport) to Krabi a popular resort on the Andaman Sea coast in South Thailand.
It will serve the destination with twice daily flights starting 1 January, next year, using a 189-seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
Krabi is attracting more attention from tourists and airlines, although it often described as an under achiever when compared to Phuket Island about 120 km northwest of this southern mainland province.
Its airport is managed by the Department of Aviation rather than Airports of Thailand, which makes a slightly cheaper for airlines to serve and there are fewer delays due to low traffic congestion.
