Japan’s All Nippon Airways Co (ANA) will introduce for the first time a direct flight to Hanoi, 30 March next year from Haneda, Tokyo.
ANA said in a statement that it will offer daily services. Flight NH858 will depart Haneda at 0855 and arrive in Hanoi 1205.
The return flight will depart Hanoi at 1400 and arrive 2105 at Haneda Airport.
The Star Alliance’s member said reservationw and ticketing will open 19 December. From June 2014 onwards, the carrier said it will use a Boeing 787 Dreamliner on the route.
The service out of Hanoi will enable passengers to connect with the airline’s new service out of Haneda to Vancouver a city that has a large Vietnamese population.
The airline intends to operate services from Haneda to China and Germany after it gained 11 new slots at Haneda airport. Narita International Airport remains the airline’s home base.
