SINGAPORE - To celebrate the Year of the Horse, Jetstar Asia invited the children of Singapore to show off their artistic skills by designing a boarding pass that brought to life the spirit of Lunar New Year in Singapore, while incorporating the colour orange.

Janice’s unique boarding pass design was selected to win out of more than 500 entries. Her creative work will reach new heights this Friday 31 January, when the limited edition boarding pass will be issued to passengers departing Singapore Changi Airport. Janice has also won a Jetstar travel voucher worth an auspicious S$888.

Jetstar Asia CEO Barathan Pasupathi said Janice’s design represents family and bonding, the cornerstones of Lunar New Year. Her confident use of the colour orange in her entry also reflects Jetstar’s bold, modern and vibrant personality.

“This competition is the first of its kind for Jetstar Asia and we have been thrilled to see the enthusiasm and creativity from our young customers. The entries have been artistically diverse and inspiring which made judging very tough for us.”

“Well done Janice and all our other winners. We are delighted to showcase Janice’s winning art work on our Jetstar Asia boarding passes, sharing the spirit of the season with our customers.”

The limited edition Jetstar boarding pass will be issued to passengers departing Singapore Changi Airport between Friday 31 January and Friday 14 February 2014.
