THAI Airways International offers special fares for youths on selected domestic routes throughout remainder of the year.
The “Special Domestic Youth Fare 2014” applies to passengers between 12 and 24 years of age.
The promotion, excluding airport taxes and surcharges, sells a one-way fare departing Bangkok to Chiang Mai at Bt2,530 on weekdays (Mondays to Thursdays) and Bt2,725 on weekends (Fridays to Sundays).
To Chiang Rai, the one-way fares sell at Bt2,965 on weekdays and Bt3,195 on weekends.
Other fares on weekdays and weekends: Bt2,240 and Bt2,410 Khon Kaen; Bt2,920 and Bt3,145 Krabi; Bt3,040 and Bt3,275 Phuket; Bt3,355 and Bt3,610 Hat Yai and Bt4,135 and Bt4,455 Samui.
The promotion also sells round-trip fares to Chiang Mai at Bt5,060 and Bt5,450 on weekdays and weekends respectively, while a round-trip Chiang Rai fare costs Bt5,930 and Bt6,390.
Other round-trip fares on weekdays and weekends: Bt4,480 and Bt4,820 to Khon Kaen; Bt5,840 and Bt6,290 Krabi; Bt6,080 and Bt6,550 Phuket; Bt6,710 and Bt7,220 to Hat Yai; and Bt8,270 and Bt8,910 Samui.
Fares are same as those offered to senior citizens, 60 years or over, a discount that was announced earlier in the week.
Passengers can book the fares and travel until 31 December this year. The maximum stay is 90 days. Fares save around 15%
