Asia Atlantic Airlines, a Thai airline partly owned by the Japanese travel firm HIS Co, will launch scheduled flights between Thailand and Japan via Cambodia this September.
Using a Boeing 767 – 300ER aircraft, Asia Atlantic Airlines will operate three flights weekly from Bangkok to Tokyo’s Narita with a stop in Phnom Penh on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays effective 2 September.
Starting 1 October the airline will operate an additional four flights a week via Siam Reap on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
“The aircraft dedicated to this route will be extensively refurbished to make it suitable for business travellers, while at the same time making travel available to the tourist market at competitive prices,” the airline said in a statement.
The airline aims to provide travel opportunities in Thailand, Japan and Cambodia that meet the needs of the travelling public. This commitment also includes promoting business opportunities for the Thai, Japanese and Cambodian business fraternities in all three countries, the airline explained.
Flight schedule
The airline sets a round-trip lowest fare at Bt14,990 inclusive of fuel surcharge from Bangkok to Tokyo’s Narita with a transit in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap.
