BANGKOK Thai Airways International will consider increasing its four weekly flights to daily services between Bangkok and Brussels.
Speaking at the “Destination Promotion” seminar Tuesday, THAI commercial acting exceutive vice president, Suraphon Israngura Na Ayuthya, said once the country returns to normal, a daily service to Brussels was possible.
“THAI is considering to increase frequency from four weekly to daily, however, we have to wait for the country to stabilise and also gain feedback from the market and passengers.”
Currently, THAI operates four weekly flights on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
He added: “Brussels is very convenient hub for us to connect passengers to many points in Europe.”
“Flights to Brussels will serve business travel from Thailand to the European Union conducting state travel. Leisure passengers from Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and France will take advantage of convenient daily flights out of Brussels.”
Since November 2011, THAI is the only Southeast Asian carrier to fly nonstop to Brussels a gateway to many destinations and a partnership agreement with Brussels Airlines through the Star Alliance makes it more important for TG.
