BANGKOK THAI Airways International is tweaking its winter timetable effective 26 October.
According to updates over the weekend, the airline will reverse a decsion on earlier aircraft changes for services to Frankfurt and Sydney.
On the Bangkok-Frankfurt route (TG922/923 the airline will continue to use A340-600 six times a week.
A plan to switch to the larger Boeing 747-400 has been cancelled.
On the Bangkok – Sydney route the airline will continue using Boeing 747-400, offering 10 weekly flights.
It had earlier planned to offer three weekly 777-300 services and seven weekly 777-300ER (extended version). First Class service will continue to be sold on the route.
The airline’s seasonal twice weekly Bangkok – Copenhagen– Phuket and Bangkok – Stockholm – Phuket route will see some changes too.
Both routes will be served by Boeing 777-200ER instead of -300ER, while business class is being sold as premium economy on the route.
