BANGKOK Thai AirAsia will add a flight between Bangkok (Don Mueang Airport) to Siem Reap giving it three daily flights starting 1 December.
The airline commercial director, Santisuk Klongchaiya, said overall the airline has achieved a high 80% passenger load factor on the route since it began operations to Cambodia in 2013.
It is the only airline based in DMK to offer a direct flight to Cambodia’s top tourist destination.
Out of SWB, Bangkok Airways offers the most flights to Siem Reap with codeshare agreements with many of its international airline partners.
Commenting on the additional flight, Thai AirAsia’s commercial director said: “The increase from two daily to three flights will help meet demand, provide passengers with a greater choice of travel times and enable us to offer improved flight connections across our network and that of the AirAsia Group.”
