Vietnam Airlines sets dreamliner flights

HANOI  Vietnam Airlines is planning an additional Hanoi-Seoul flight, for launch this October using an Airbus 350.
The new service is a response to growing demand as South Korea’s investment in Vietnam increases, fuelling business travel.
Vietnam Airlines says it will use the new A350-900 on a new daily service departing Hanoi at 1025 and departing Seoul at 1805, due to start late October.
The airline is also considering changes to its 2015/2016 European timetable that will see an upgrade of aircraft to the new A350 and Boeing 787 Dreamliners.
inside no 7On its Hanoi-Paris run the airline will use a mix of A350s and Boeing 777s.
The Boeing 787 Dreamliner will be used on routes from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Frankfurt effective late October.
Effective this June, the Dreamliner will operate from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to London Heathrow. Flights to Heathrow will start 31 March.
The airline will launch its new 787-9 fleet on routes to Heathrow in July. Bookings for the Heathrow service opened 12 January last month.
By June, the airline’s Dreamliners will operate five weekly services from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to London Heathrow.
Flights from both cities will increase to daily later in the year.
