Abacus signs partnership with Jet Airways

SINGAPORE  Abacus announced, Monday, a comprehensive partnership with Jet Airways that will broaden the Indian carrier’s reach while increasing its control over connecting segments.
The new multi-year distribution agreement, which includes the latest Abacus Journey Data and Married Segment solutions, will assist Jet Airways in developing its own branded and rapidly expanding code-share connectivity.
The airline’s network, currently serving 73 destinations and 22 international gateways, is extended with 18 code-share agreements and over 100 interline partners.
inside no 8“Jet Airways has a wealth of direct and interline options to market at a time of increasing demand,” said Ho Hoong Mau, VP Airline Distribution at Abacus.
Jet Airways chief commercial officer, Raj Sivakumar said: “This latest investment in Abacus, with new revenue management technology, will help us align even more closely with Asia Pacific’s travel trade.”
Abacus technology is used at over 20,000 travel agent locations across the Asia Pacific region, including many of India’s leading travel management brands.
Jet Airways, based in India, currently operates a fleet of 116 aircraft and flies to 73 destinations worldwide.
