BANGKOK Thai AirAsia X has taken delivery of its third Airbus A330-300 to support an increase of services to Japan later this month.
The airline CEO, Nadda Buranasiri, said the new fleet will be used to increase flights to Japan’s Tokyo and Osaka effective 26 March.
The new aircraft is configured with 377 seats; 12 reclining business class seats and 365 economy seats.
The aircraft’s design features “Park Ji-Sung” the famous Asian football player who is also the airline’s brand ambassador.
inside no 4Starting 26 March, Thai AirAsia X flights to Tokyo Narita International Airport will increase to two daily. Flights from Bangkok to Osaka Kansai International Airport will also increase from five weekly to daily.
It also will launch a daily flight connecting Thailand’s (Don Mueang Airport) to Japan’s Sapporo New Chitose Airport, 1 May.
The airline currently operates a daily flight between Don Mueang-Seoul (Incheon), South Korea.
