HONG KONG - Korean Air has announced that as from 26 April it will resume its service between Incheon and Russia’s second largest city St. Petersburg. The service will operate three flights a week, utilizing A330-200 aircraft equipped with AVOD in all seats and seating up to 218 passengers.

Operating every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, KE929 will depart Seoul/Incheon at 17:55 and arrive in St. Petersburg at 21:30 the same day. The return flight KE930 departs St. Petersburg at 23:00 for an overnight flight that arrives at Seoul/Incheon at 13:40 the next day.

A gateway to northern Europe, St. Petersburg is a major European cultural center with traditions and heritage cherished for many centuries. The city is home to more than two hundred museums; many of them housed in historical buildings, the best known being the famous Hermitage Museum, one of the largest museums in the world. Korean Air is well known for its support of arts and culture and has sponsored the audio guide service at the Hermitage Museum since 2009.

The city attracts tourists from all over the world particularly during the summer when visitors can enjoy the phenomena known as the White Nights - a pearlescent, luminous all night glow lights the city and allows festivals, concerts and parties to take place throughout the night.

By resuming the Incheon - St. Petersburg route during the summer season, Korean Air meets the demand and provides more options and greater flexibility for passengers travelling to Russia and Northern Europe.
