Vietjet launches Ho Chi Minh City to Dong Hoi service

SINGAPORE - Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company (“Vietjet”) has launched a new service route connecting Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Hoi, to meet tourism needs and trade exchange between the two cities.

The new route will operate seven round trips per week from Monday to Sunday. The flight will depart Ho Chi Minh City at 10.20am (local time) and Dong Hoi at 12.40pm (local time) daily. The flight duration per section is approximately 1 hour and 35 minutes. Passengers travelling from Singapore can now connect to Dong Hoi from Ho Chi Minh City where Vietjet offers daily flights to the latter. From Singapore, Vietjet will depart Changi International Airport at 1.05pm (local time). The airline has also announced plans to increase the frequency of its Singapore to Ho Chi Minh City route from 30 May 2015.

Dong Hoi is the capital city of Quang Binh Province in North Vietnam and is starting to gain popularity for its close proximity to beautiful beaches and the Phong Nha caves.

Vietjet currently operates 150 flights per day with a fleet of 25 Airbus aircraft across 30 routes domestically and internationally.
