Vietjet increases HCMC-Taipei flights

HO CHI MINH CITY  Vietjet will increase flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Taipei from five weekly to daily flights starting 18 June.
According to the airline’s management, the new flights will meet growing demand from business and leisure travellers.
The daily flights will depart Ho Chi Minh City at 1430 and arrive in Taipei at 1855 (local time). The return flight will depart Taipei at 2000 (local time) and arrive in Ho Chi Minh City at 2225. Flight time is three hours and 25 minutes.
Currently, Vietjet has a fleet of 24 Airbus A320 aircraft and A321 aircraft, with 150 flights each day.
inside no 2It serves 28 routes in Vietnam and flies from Vietnam to Thailand, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Cambodia.
The carrier has transported 10 million passengers since it started services three years ago.
Vietjet plans to expand its network across the Asia-Pacific region and plans long-haul flights to Europe. To this end, Vietjet has signed MoUs to acquire suitable aircraft but gave not further details.
