BANGKOK Thai Lion Air will increase flights from single to twice daily on the Bangkok-Singapore route effective 16 September.
The airline inaugurated the first flight to Singapore from Don Mueang Airport, 15 August.
The additional flight will increase the airline’s capacity to tap business on an extremely competitive route that is already served by four LCCs –- AirAsia, Jetstar, Scoot and Tigerair.

inside no 1The airline sets the lowest one-way fare from Bangkok to Singapore at THB995. Fare includes taxes and fees.
In comparison, Scoot quotes an inclusive one-way fare of THB1,575, Thai AirAsia sells at THB2,079, Jetstar at THB2,299, and Thai Tigerair THB2,725.
Thai Airways International offers an inclusive one-way fare to Singapore at THB6,720, Singapore Airlines at THB10,515, and Bangkok Airways at THB15,890. The PG routing requires a change of plane in Samui and is a combination of two fares on sectors that are very popular.
