BANGKOK China Eastern Airlines will introduce flights connecting Bangkok and Wuhan in China starting 2 July.
The airline will fly a daily service to Wuhan, the capital of Hubei province in China, a popular destination with Thai travellers.
Wuhan is known as “Jiusheng Tongqu (the nine provinces’ leading thoroughfare)”. It is a major transportation hub for railways, with three major railway stations. The city has one tunnel and several bridges across the Yangtze River. The airport is located 26 km north of downtown Wuhan.
The city has many tourist attractions such as Wuchang, the city largest lake, the Hubei Provincial Museum, Jiqing Street, the Yellow Crane Tower and Chu River and Han Street and even theme parks.
The airline sets its lowest one-way fare on Bangkok –Wuhan route at THB9,493. The fare includes airport tax, tax, fuel and other charge.
Wuhan, capital city of the Hubei Province, is a popular shopping and culinary tourist destination for both Chinese nationals and overseas visitors.
