Lion lifts off for China

BANGKOK Thai Lion Air will commence two new routes connecting Bangkok to Chengdu and Chongqing in China effective today, 1 March.

According to the airline’s website, the new services will operate with a daily flight each departing Bangkok’s Don Mueang Airport  Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

China is a key market for Thailand’s low-cost airlines.

The airline sells a promotional one-way fare, ex-Bangkok, starting at THB1,595 to Chengdu and Chongqing. The fare includes all charges, a free baggage allowance 20 kg, sport equipment allowance 15 kg and seat selection.
