Villalet launches one-stop villa rental service

SURRY HILLS - A new one-stop travel site has been launched for luxury villa rentals in South East Asia and the Pacific. For the first time, you can now search, view and securely book one of more than 800 luxury villas across four countries on its website.  Villalet simplifies the process of finding and booking a villa and offers luxury villas in Bali, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Fiji with fully serviced properties offering a range of options such as in?house cooks and butler services.  With the indulgences of privacy and additional amenities, a villa can often be a much more desirable holiday option than traditional hotel packages. David Anderson launched Villalet.com after identifying a need for one dedicated website to provide a large selection of luxuriously-appointed villas with a trustworthy and secure booking service.  “There are sites out there with one or two villas on them, but there is definitely a need for a single website with a large range of high-end villas to search and safely book, all on the same platform,” Anderson said. Anderson said he has seen many instances where someone has spent hours trawling numerous websites, finally booked a villa online through a third-party site, only to turn up on the first day of their holiday to find the booking has not been confirmed with the property, and they are left stranded with no accommodation and no chance of a refund.  The Villalet team verifies all villas on the site, to ensure the properties are adequate and suitably located. However a villa stay doesn’t have to break the bank and Anderson says a holiday in a luxury villa can work out to be a cost effective option for a luxurious getaway.  “Many of our villas have all the services you would typically find in a deluxe hotel, but provide the atmosphere and privacy of your own luxury escape,” he said. “When you add up all the extras and divide it by the number of people who can stay, our guests often comment on how affordable a week or two of luxury in a villa actually turns out to be.”
