Lonely Planet becomes PATA preferred partner

BANGKOK - Lonely Planet, the world's largest travel guide book publisher, has become a Preferred Partner of the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA).

Lonely Planet offers trusted advice from real travellers and a wide variety of travel choices and planning features with seamless links to booking tools. Lonely Planet has a large online community with over 1 million Thorn Tree forum members, and 11 million monthly unique visitors globally to lonelyplanet.com.

This partnership will enable PATA and Lonely Planet to collaborate on joint initiatives to support the sustainable development of the Asia Pacific visitor economy though knowledge management, aligned advocacy and connecting networks.
