Grand Hyatt Beijing unveils newly remodelled Grand Suites

BEIJING - Following the debut of Grand Hyatt Beijing’s Grand Premium rooms in the first quarter of this year, the excitement continues with the unveiling of the latest, all new collection of Grand Suites. A total of 67 Grand Suites were introduced this week.

As a consistent follow-through from the Grand Premium rooms, the new Grand Suites which start at 54 square metre, continue to boast a functional design where the sleek furniture are carefully positioned to create more generous space. Similarly, the Grand Suites also feature new interiors based on a palette of rich and warm earth tones to set a restful and welcoming ambiance. In terms of functionality, there is an enhanced lighting system and technology-savvy conveniences such as an iPod docking station, and an extended workstation fitted with USB charging outlets. These connectivity amenities and the complimentary Wi-Fi Internet access allow our guests to be constantly “connected”.

With an extensive use of glass, abundance of natural light permeates all areas of the suite including the generous walk-in wardrobe space and the expansive bathroom. The corner Grand Suites feature floor-to-ceiling glass windows facing the floor-to-ceiling mirrors create a soothing ‘infinity effect’.

According to Mr Malcolm Zancanaro, General Manager of Grand Hyatt Beijing, “This fitting transformation is part of our commitment to our guests to continue to deliver superior accommodation. Following this second phase of remodelling, half of Grand Hyatt Beijing’s 825 guestrooms have been remodelled. Over the next few weeks, we also look forward to unveiling the Grand Studio, a contemporary open-plan room, and a new Club Deluxe Two-Bedroom Suite."

Similar to the Grand Suite and the Grand Premium, the Grand Studio also perfectly blends modern lifestyle with functional conveniences. The Grand Studio is thoughtfully designed as a living room, working room and bedroom, all in one. A relaxation lounge, walk-in wardrobe, workstation with USB charging outlets and iPod docking station seamlessly surround the plush Hyatt Grand Bed.

The new Club Deluxe Two-Bedroom Suite features two bedrooms and two full bathrooms flanking an oversized living room and large windows overlooking views of Beijing’s city skyline. Apart from families, the new Two-Bedroom Suite is also ideal for larger groups such as groups of friends travelling together or even high-profile executives being accompanied by their professional security personnels.

Mr Zancanaro also said that a significant amount of investment has been injected in the remodelling, and the remaining guestrooms will be completely transformed over the next two/three years.

He explained that the hotel’s project teams are very experienced and have carefully planned the remodellingprogramme, hence the whole process has been seamless and inconspicuous, especially to the hotel’s valued guests.
