BANGKOK - One of Thailand's finest resort properties, The Sarojin, has cracked open the bubbly after it was bestowed with multiple awards at three top industry events, adding to its vast collection of previous accolades. The latest three awards were for Best Honeymoon Destination, at the Amadeus and World Travel Market Experience Awards; best "Luxury Coastal Resort" at the World Luxury Hotel Awards; and the 2013 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence.

Testament to its outstanding appeal for romantic holidays, The Sarojin was declared best 'Honeymoon' destination at the inaugural Amadeus & WTM Travel Experience Awards, which took place earlier this month. The judges praised The Sarojin for offering everything a honeymoon couple could want. For honeymooners who want to relax the resort offers an award-winning spa and guaranteed tranquility. For those preferring a bit of adventure, there are jungle walks, mountain bike trails, elephant trekking, fishing and climbing to name a few options - plus private dinners beneath a candlelit jungle waterfall or on a private sand island.

Prior to this, the five-star hotel, situated on an 11km stretch of white sand beach in the coastal resort of Khao Lak, was recognised as the best 'Luxury Coastal Resort' at the prestigious World Luxury Hotel Awards. This esteemed accolade was presented to The Sarojin at a glitzy industry ceremony on 1st November 2013, in recognition of the resort's spectacular coastal setting and exceptional services for discerning guests. The Sarojin, one of 1,000 hotels from 87 countries nominated to participate in the World Luxury Hotel Awards, was judged purely on its outstanding achievements in excellence.

A hat trick of award wins came with the 2013 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence, marking the sixth year in a row that the property has received this accreditation. This highly sought-after award was presented to The Sarojin's signature restaurant, Ficus, in honour of its devotion to wine, a well-chosen selection of quality producers and a thematic match to the restaurant's food menu in both price and style. Ficus, which has welcomed celebrity guests including noted chef Rick Stein, sits beneath the hanging roots of an ancient Ficus tree and rests beside a magnificent Lotus Pond.

"We are extremely honoured and proud to receive these wonderful awards," comments Kate Kemp, co-owner of The Sarojin. "These fantastic accolades are testament to the combined efforts of our resort's entire team of staff, and we are thrilled that our collective commitment to delivering the very highest standards has been celebrated by these prestigious awards."
