Starwood Hotels & Resorts debuts Sheraton Langfang Chaobai River Hotel in Hebei, China

LANGFANG - Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. announced the opening of Sheraton Langfang Chaobai River Hotel in northern China's Hebei province on Dec. 28. Owned by China Fortune Land Development Co. Ltd., Sheraton Langfang Chaobai River Hotel is the second Starwood hotel in Hebei Province and the only international five-star hotel in Langfang City.

The opening of Sheraton Langfang Chaobai River Hotel marks part of Sheraton's aggressive global expansion plans and propulsive growth across Asia Pacific, moving the brand closer to the target of opening its 500th hotel worldwide in 2016. It also paves the way for Starwood to further expand its footprint in secondary and tertiary cities across China. Today, China is Starwood's largest and most dynamic market outside of the United States with more than 120 hotels in operation and over 100 hotels in the pipeline.

Positioned as a key city in the "Beijing -- Tianjin -- Heibei Economic Circle", Langfang boasts an enviable geographic location. Known as the "courtyard of boisterous Beijing", the city is an easy 45-minute-drive from Beijing Capital International Airport and China World Trade Center. Langfang is thus a great short escape destination for Beijing residents. Sheraton Langfang Chaobai River Hotel is conveniently located within the Dachang Chaobai River Industrials Zone, east of the capital. Sheraton Langfang Chaobai River Hotel features 302 stylish and contemporary guestrooms and suites designed with comfort in mind. Signature amenities include the signature Sheraton Sweet Sleeper(R) bed, a LCD flat screen TV, high speed Internet access and an oversized work desk. The hotel also offers a Sheraton Club, Sheraton Fitness by Core Performance, and an indoor heated pool for an enhanced lifestyle experience. It also houses the first Elegant Spa club in east Beijing with a variety of wellness programs.

The hotel's two distinctive dining experiences include Feast Signature Restaurant with international favorites in an open kitchen setting; and YUE Chinese restaurant, the first restaurant in east Beijing that offers Cantonese dim sum on the weekends.

For meetings and events, Sheraton Langfang Chaobai River Hotel boasts a versatile function space spanning approximately 3,000 square meters.
