Hwacheon Sancheoneo Ice Festival 4-26 January 2014

KOREA - Hwacheon Sancheoneo Ice Festival has been selected as one of the representative festivals in Korea by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korean Government on Dec. 16, 2013. In 2011, it was reported one of 7 wonders in winter by CNN, and in 2013, it was chosen as a 'World Festival City' by International Festival and Events Association.

Hwacheon Sancheoneo Ice Festival will be held for 23 days from Jan. 04, Sat. to 26, Sun. 2014. The festival offers a very exciting and dynamic experience program. On offer to group visitors from abroad are packages, which includes, ice fishing, ice sleigh, snow fun park, snow sled, ice gallery, all for just 10,000 Won (approx £6) per person. Festival organizers will also provide a guide for translation purposes.

Visitors can also view the Ice Sculpture Park, Michelangelo Special Exhibition, 3D Digital Gallery and many other winter activities. During the evenings and set beneath a sky of lanterns, you will be treated to a spectacular special daily ice show.
