Destination Asia Sarawak bound

BANGKOK - Destination Asia is looking forward to showcasing our latest 2014 leisure travel products at ATF (ASEAN Tourism Forum) in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia 16-23 January 2014.

The past year has been highly productive with the development of a number of “Personalized Travel Experiences” that take guests on bespoke excursions that surpass all levels of expectation.

Examples include: helicopter tours over the imposing Great Wall of China; spending a night on a floating hotel in a lush jungle riverscape in Thailand; or a luxury cruise down the mighty Mekong with departure from the cultural enclave of Luang Prabang.

All of these special leisure products have been developed so that clients immerse themselves in the “real” Asia. They incorporate essential key themes throughout including spirituality, traditions, antiquities, worship and devotion, ancient civilizations and eternal nature.

We will also showcase our latest marketing and communications materials, including the launch of 11 high-end country brochures that detail the best meetings and events options across Asia; and a new website that provides our clients with exclusive and dedicated meetings and events information for the 11 countries in the Destination Asia group.

On the technical front, more Destination Asia countries are signing up to our online 24/7 booking engine – eDA – which provides instant access to hotels, tours and transfers at the click of a mouse.

To cap a highly productive year, our corporate social responsibility programs continue to expand with a wealth of sustainable projects coming on stream that give back to our host communities.
