Vietnam expects to launch its first tourism annual report later this year in an effort to generate investor interest and provide insights into the state of the country’s tourism industry.
Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, which is working with a European Union project on Environmentally and Socially Responsible Tourism Capacity Development Programme, recently, organised a conference to collect ideas on publishing a Vietnam Annual Tourism Report 2013.
The local media reported that the first annual report on Vietnam’s tourism will bring benefits to the country’s tourism sector by educating potential investors and state agencies.
The report will focus on providing an overview of tourism objectives and how the country’s development in tourism links to ASEAN. It will provide a tourism marketing strategy, statistics and an outline of regulations regarding tourism.
The Vietnam Annual Tourism Report 2013 is expected to be released this September.
