A new alliance for The Travel Industry Exhibition

The Travel Industry Exhibition has announced that Dubai Tourism will be the Official Exhibition Sponsor of the inaugural event 18-19 July 2014.

Julie King, Director of Dubai Tourism Australia and New Zealand Representative office, said: “Partnering with the Travel Industry Exhibition provides us with an exciting platform to further highlight and educate our key trade partners on our strategies moving forward to 2020. With the growing importance of Australia as one of Dubai’s top source markets and the region achieving the highest growth globally for Dubai in 2013 (36.4%), we are significantly increasing our investment and efforts in the market to further increase our support to the Trade."

Announcing the new sponsorship arrangement, Exhibition Director, Pascal Ibrahim, said he was delighted with Dubai Tourism’s decision to officially sponsor the Travel Industry Exhibition, that showcases the very best that the travel industry has to offer: “We are very excited by Dubai Tourism choosing The Travel Industry Exhibition as a platform to engage with the travel industry to promote to and educate the Australian travel professionals about what’s new and exciting in Dubai.”

Travel agents attending will be able to catch up on the latest innovations in destinations, hotels, airline products, cruises, tours, packages, travel technology, industry organisations and much more. The show is set to be the ideal forum to meet key suppliers and partners face to face.

The Travel Industry Exhibition will feature a strong seminar program with sessions on ATAS, marketing and customer service as well as exhibitor case studies. Sessions are free to all visitors and have been so popular that they have been moved to larger seminar rooms to accommodate demand. There will also be networking opportunities in each of the five exhibition zones – Airlines, Technical & Innovation, Cruises, Destinations and Hotels & Resorts. All visitors are invited to a hosted networking drinks reception on the evening of the 18 July.
