Binh Dinh opens info offices

Binh Dinh has established two information centres in Quy Nhon City for international visitors.
Binh Dinh is best known for its marine eco tours and trips to islands, handicraft villages and heritage sites.
The province is also famous for martial arts and is the host of the fifth International Vietnamese Martial Arts Festival this August.
Binh Dinh is located on Vietnam’s central coast, 690 km from Ho Chi Minh City and is served by Phu Cat Airport, 36 km north of Qui Nhon City.
The province should welcome around 2 million tourists this year, mainly domestic visitor.
To achieve its target, Binh Dinh officials said they will improve the quality of tourism products, cultural activities as well as organising seminars to attract more investment in travel firms and hotels.
An overall plan on tourism development up until 2020 is now in place with a long-term recommendations up to 2030.
The province has made tourist destinations in the Quy Nhon urban area more attractive by adding a culinary street, illuminations, night markets and art performances.
In 2013, Binh Dinh restored cultural and historical buildings and organised international and local events to serve tourists.
It welcomed nearly 1.7 million visitors including 139,000 international arrivals by the end of 2013, up 16% from same period in 2012.
