SKAL dinner in Chiang Mai

SkAL Chiang Mai and North Thailand’s members will host their monthly dinner event at Sala Lanna Hotel’s Italian restaurant, Chiang Mai, 31 July.
Last month’s dinner event was hosted at the Anantara Golden Triangle Resort, Chiang Rai, in one of the club’s rare outings to the far north province, a 180 km road trip from the club’s main Chiang Mai base.
Chiang Mai’s Sala Lanna Hotel, host for this month’s dinner, is situated on the banks of the Ping River quite close to the town’s “Goodview” and “Riverside” pubs, on Charoenrat Road’s Wat Gate.
Cocktails and Canapés will be served from 1830 onwards at The Roof, a rooftop sky bar with a swimming pool and views of the river. Dinner at Italia, a riverfront Italian restaurant which had been voted as one of Thailand Tatler’s Best Restaurants in Chiang Mai will begin at 1930.
Members pay THB600.00 net, while guests pay THB800. In addition free-flow drinks costs THB400.
Both members and non-members need to book in advance and the club has a strict policy of charging for even if you no-show.
