Crown Perth wins six prestigious AHA Awards

Over 500 hospitality industry professionals gathered in the Grand Ballroom at Crown Perth last night for the ‘Peroni Gala Ball’ and the presentation of the AHA 2014 ME Bank WA Accommodation Industry Awards.

Crown Perth was proud once again to be the host venue for these awards which recognise excellence in the WA hotel industry across a range of areas including accommodation, employee services and dining.

A finalist in six major categories, Crown Perth had an extremely successful night, taking out the title for all six awards.

Having undergone an extensive multi-million dollar refurbishment, the five-star Crown Metropol Perth was proud to receive the Deluxe Accommodation Award and the Resort Style Accommodation Award for the second year running.

Guillaume Brahimi’s renowned French restaurant Bistro Guillaume Perth was named the winner of the Restaurant within an Accommodation Hotel Award for the second year running, and also won the Accommodation Hotel Wine List Award.

Crown Perth’s Hotels Engineering Manager Lee Binsted won the Engineering and Maintenance Award for his outstanding work in maintaining a five-star standard across both Crown Metropol Perth and Crown Promenade Perth and to top it off, Crown Metropol Perth’s Housekeeping Manager Rashmi Tulsiani, already Crown Perth’s 2014 Employee of the Year, was awarded the Housekeeping Award sharing it jointly with Dewi Sriati from Rendevous Grand.

Crown Perth Chief Operating Officer – Hotels and Entertainment Andrew Hill said that Crown Perth was honoured to be acknowledged at the Awards ceremony.
