TripAdvisor expands sales team

SINGAPORE TripAdvisor has named Angie Vaux as commercial director, Asia Pacific.
She will play a key role in growing TripAdvisor for Business’ presence in the Asia-Pacific, overseeing its regional sales team and delivering on the company’s commitment to help hotels and B&Bs attract more travellers and succeed in the online marketplace.
“We are pleased to have her leadership as we continue to build our operations throughout the region and communicate the many opportunities,” said TripAdvisor for Business president, Marc Charron.

Angie Vaux
Prior to joining TripAdvisor, Vaux held a variety of sales and marketing leadership positions in the technology industry.
She comes to TripAdvisor from SAP, a leading provider of enterprise software and service. Her most recent position at SAP was senior director, business unit head, Southeast Asia.
She has spent the last nine years living and working in Singapore and Sydney. She will be based in TripAdvisor’s Asia Pacific headquarters in Singapore.
