Singapore first country to debut fully-fitted Air France aircrafts with new cabins

SINGAPORE - Air France is upgrading all its long-haul products and services with the ambition to place Air France at the best global level in terms of products and services. After launching the new Business, Premium Economy, and Economy cabins on the Paris - New York route in June, Singapore will be the first country in the world to debut the fully fitted aircraft with the brand new La Premiere Suites on 29 September 2014 on flights from Paris to Singapore and Jakarta.

Using Boeing 777-300, the first Air France flight with all four new cabins will arrive in Singapore and Jakarta on 30 September 2014 with the flight numbers AF 254/259. With the well being of each passenger in mind, Air France creates new cabins, which reflect the art of welcoming guests “a la francaise".

Singapore is playing an increasingly significant role in the Air France network.

Commercial Director AIR FRANCE KLM Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia, Mr. Matthieu Tetaud said, “We are very honoured that Singapore is given the privilege to be the first country to unveil the newly fitted planes. This shows our commitment to constantly innovate and improve ourselves.”

With the newly fitted cabins, passengers can look forward to optimum travel comfort, luxury and better in-flight entertainment.

From North America to Asia, and via Africa, the new cabins will transport Air France’s passengers around the world. The 44 Boeing 777s, at the heart of the Air France long-haul fleet, will be progressively equipped with the new seats in all cabins between now and 2016, offering additional comfort for all passengers.

From Singapore, Air France presently serves daily flights to Jakarta and Paris.

La Premiere Suite - 4 seats
The new La Premiere suite now has four exclusive individual suites on board Air France’s long-haul Boeing 777-300. Each suite ensures optimum privacy and enables customers to be totally or partially alone, in absolute comfort.

Premium Economy class - 28 seats
Air France continues to improve its Premium Economy cabin with more comfort by offering new softer seat cushions, a new HD screen and a multi-position foot rest to suit passengers’ different needs.

• The seat contains storage spaces and includes multiple functionalities to help you work or relax: a large interactive video screen, a noise-reducing headset and a power outlet to plug in your laptop computer.

Economy class - 206 seats
A new fully-revised seat, with more legroom, new seat cushion, more comfortable headrests and a wider tray table. A fleece blanket, headphones, refreshing towelette and eye-mask also contribute to your well-being.
• More legroom and up to one inch (2.5 cm) more room at knee level.
• A new, larger latest-generation 9-inch (22.9 cm) HD touch-screen.
