MANCHESTER Top aviation executives and transport ministers will attend the 20th World Route Development Forum in Chicago, 20 to 23 September.
Tim Clark of Emirates and Scott Kirby of American Airlines are due to speak at World Route’s Strategy Summit that brings together 60 major airlines.
Overall, World Routes will draw 3,000 industry experts representing around 300 airlines, 800 airports and 200 tourism authorities to Chicago.
Chicago hopes to increase air services and attract more visitors through hosting the event.
The Strategy Summit, takes place alongside World Routes on 21 and 22 September. It will bring together 60 CEOs and senior leaders from the world’s leading airlines and airports as well as senior government officials.
This year’s conference programme, which also includes the World Routes Tourism Summit, will see participation of over 80 senior speakers from 31 countries.
World Routes is back in the US after being hosted in Las Vegas in 2013. It will go to South Africa and China in the coming years. (PRnewswire).
