BANGKOK - Best Western International has once again been crowned as Asia’s best midscale hotel brand, for a staggering eighth year in a row!

At the 25th Annual TTG Travel Awards, which took place in Bangkok last night, Best Western International once again took the title of ‘Best Mid-Range Hotel Brand’, as voted for by the readers of TTG Asia, TTG China, TTG India, TTGmice, TTG-BTmice China, TTGassociations and TTG Asia Luxury magazines.

And this award was just the start of a glittering evening for the company…

Best Western International also won the ‘Best Trade Supporter’ award, as selected by the TTG editorial team. This special honor falls under the ‘Outstanding Achievement Awards’ category and is dedicated to the company demonstrating the highest level of support for the travel trade.

Glenn de Souza, Best Western International’s Vice President of International Operations for Asia & Middle East, picked up the two awards on behalf of his company.

“We are absolutely thrilled to have been named Asia’s ‘Best Mid-Range Hotel Brand’ once again,” said Mr. de Souza. “We have now won this award for eight consecutive years, and it is testament to the tireless hard work and dedication of our entire team that Best Western International has managed to remain at the pinnacle of our industry for so long."

“With every year that passes this sector becomes more competitive. We will not rest on our laurels, and will always strive to deliver the very best midscale hotel experience and world-class service to our guests across Asia,” Mr. de Souza added.

In collecting the award for ‘Best Trade Supporter’, Mr. de Souza mentioned that Best Western International has always believed in the value and strength of its travel trade partners.

“This honor is especially gratifying as the travel trade is the cornerstone of everything we do. I would like to thank the editorial team of TTG for recognizing Best Western International’s deep commitment to our trade partners, and I look forward to developing these relationships even further in future,” Mr. de Souza concluded.
