Carlson Rezidor recognised as fastest growing hotel chain in India

SINGAPORE - Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group 's leadership position in India has been reaffirmed when it was presented with the Fastest Growing Hotel Chain Award by the Honorable Shripad Yesso Naik, Minister of State for Tourism and Culture for India at Today's Traveller Awards in Delhi recently. Organised by Today's Traveller India, the Awards celebrate excellence in the sectors of tourism and travel, transportation, technology and fashion.

Over the past few years, Carlson Rezidor has successfully maintained its pole position as the number one international hotel operator in India by number of hotels. Currently, it has over 110 hotels in operation and development throughout 40 cities across the country.

These hotels are representative of its five brands - Radisson Blu, Radisson, Park Plaza, Park Inn by Radisson and Country Inns and Suites. This year, it has opened seven hotels in India and is expected to open two more before year-end.

Kachru was the sole recipient of Today's Traveller Legends Award (2013 - 2014) for his pioneering contribution to India's hospitality sector.
