Nok rides to elephant town

BANGKOK Nok Air will launch a daily Fly ‘n’ Ride service from Bangkok to Surin starting 3 November using its daily Buriram flight with a bus connection to Surin.

Surin is the province of elephants, prestigious Thai silk, Khmer temple ruins, fragrant rice, and rural heritage.

In November every year, the spotlight shines on Surin as Thais and foreign visitors congregate to witness one of Thailand’s most iconic celebrations: the Surin Elephant Round-Up.

Surin is about 450 km east of Bangkok and 50 km from the Cambodian border.

Fly ‘n’ Ride schedule

*Operates from 3 November.

The connecting bus service is operated by Surin Majestic Hotel located at 99 Jitbamrung Rd., Muang, Surin. Tel (+66)44 713980.

The lowest one-way fare for the fly-ride service starts at THB1,560 inclusive of airport taxes and fees.
