Best Western to meet travel trade partners at ITB Asia

BANGKOK - Best Western International will once again be showcasing its hotels and development plans to its travel trade partners at this year’s ITB Asia.
 
Returning to the Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands from October 29-31, 2014, ITB Asia is the biggest travel trade show in the Asia Pacific region.
 
The three-day event is expected to attract approximately 9,000 attendees from more than 100 countries, including hundreds of key international buyers. So for a company like Best Western International, which is rapidly expanding its Asian portfolio, the event offers an unrivalled opportunity to meet and do business with travel trade partners from across the region, and the world.
 
“ITB Asia is the region’s biggest travel trade show and we are delighted to confirm our participation once again this year,” said Glenn de Souza, Best Western International’s Vice President of International Operations for Asia & Middle East.
 
“We have been present at the event every year since it began in 2008 and I have found it presents a tremendous opportunity to showcase our hotels, and our ambitious expansion plans. Having once again taken a large booth space on the main show floor, Best Western International will be presenting attendees with updates of its portfolio of almost 200 hotels in operation, under construction and in the process of rebranding across Asia and the Middle East.
 
This currently includes more than 130 classic midscale BEST WESTERN hotels, plus a rapidly rising collection of upscale BEST WESTERN PLUS and luxury BEST WESTERN PREMIER hotels.
 
Since last year’s ITB Asia, Best Western International has doubled its portfolio in Indonesia, launched its first ever hotels in Myanmar and Sri Lanka, signed its first property in Bhutan, and expanded in many other countries including Malaysia, Thailand and Cambodia. So there is plenty to talk about!
