TripAdvisor, Expedia, Qunar and Wego to join travel’s leaders in social media and mobile

TripAdvisor, Expedia, Qunar and Wego are just a few of the leading travel brands who are joining over 150 of APAC’s senior level travel executives in Hong Kong next February 3-4.

The event hosted by EyeforTravel is already building hype as travel executives across APAC seek to create a strategy which integrates the two most influential trends for online marketers in APAC; Social Media and Mobile. Travel brands realise that converting the travel consumer in APAC is a much more likely reality when integrating both principles.

Speaking at February 2015’s event is Tomas Laboutka, CEO, HotelQuickly. Laboutka suggests, "The landscape of travel trends in Asia-Pacific is changing rapidly, with mobile leading that growth. 70% of smartphone users wouldn’t leave the house without their device, and we’re predicting mobile flight and hotel bookings will only continue to rise. Around 2/3 of bookings made through mobile are last-minute in this region, a number we also expect to grow quickly. With so many options out there, travelers are also trending toward more personalized and curated offers and travel planning. We believe the mobile offering will become even more relevant as travel companies continue to personalize and simplify the experience."
