IHG focuses Double Bay views

SINGAPORE  InterContinental Hotels Group announced, Thursday, the opening of InterContinental Sydney Double Bay, the group’s fifth InterContinental Hotels & Resorts property in Australia.
Acquired and refurbished by Royal Hotels Australia, the multi-million dollar development of InterContinental Sydney Double Bay focuses on up-scale accommodation and substantial event spaces all with views of Double Bay village and Bay
IHG chief operating officer IHG Australasia, Middle East and Africa Alan Watts said: “The opening of InterContinental Sydney Double Bay marks an important time for IHG not only in Australia, but in the wider region. We are thrilled to have partnered with Royal Hotels in the development of this exceptional hotel.”

The hotel’s original grand ballroom has been restored and has a capacity to host up to 495 guests cocktail-style.
Situated in the tranquil suburb of Double Bay, just 13 km from the airport and 5 km from the CBD, there are magnificent views of the bay with arguably the best vista enjoyed from the hotel’s rooftop infinity pool, featuring a private bar and lounge area with cabanas.
To support the launch, the property is offering special opening rates starting at AUD390 per room, per night, including breakfast for two.
