Best Western has touched down at Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

The Best Western Plus Maple Leaf is a brand new upscale hotel located on the doorstep of Bangladesh’s main international gateway. It features 50 rooms and suites, which ranging from 25m² to 80m² and all feature 40-inch HD TVs, LED lighting and free Wi-Fi.

Hotel facilities include a restaurant and cafe, rooftop bar and barbecue, a business centre, meeting room, spa and complimentary airport shuttle.

“As the main air gateway for the world’s eighth most populous country, Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport has a vast amount of potential. That’s why we’re so exciting to welcome Best Western Plus Maple Leaf into our Asian collection,” said Glenn de Souza, Best Western’s vice president of international operations for Asia & Middle East.

“With its array of upscale amenities combined with Best Western’s legendary service standards, I am confident this excellent new hotel will become popular with both domestic and international travellers alike.”

Best Western Plus Maple Leaf becomes Best Western’s second hotel in Bangladesh, joining the Italian-inspired Best Western La Vinci Hotel in downtown Dhaka. And the company has firm plans to open a further two hotels in the country, including its first in the city of Cox’s Bazar.
