Mövenpick opens Samui hotel

BANGKOK Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, is set to open a new boutique property on Samui island.
Scheduled to open this December, Mövenpick Resort Laem Yai Beach Samui will have just 50 rooms, a beachfront restaurant serving international cuisine, three outdoor pools and an Asian herbal spa.
Located on the northwest coast of the popular tourist island, the resort overlooks island of the Angthong National Marine Park.
inside no 8Angthong National Marine Park has 42 islands that can be visited on day trips from Samui island.
All accommodation is on ground level and each room and villa offers a private terrace, complimentary Wi-Fi, air conditioning, rainforest shower and flat screen TV.
To mark the opening the hotel is offering a 40% discount when staying four or more nights (from THB4,000 per night including breakfast) at Mövenpick Resort Laem Yai Beach Samui.
The resort is a 30-minute drive from Samui’s airport.
The hotel is the third property in Thailand, alongside the Bangtao and Karon Beach hotels in Phuket, Out of the over 25 new properties due to open worldwide, 15 are scheduled to open in Asia including locations such as the Philippines, India, China, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Singapore.
