Trip to the past

A visit to Phimai and Phanom Rung Historical Parks and other ancient monuments in the vicinity will be organised on November 27 and 28. Led by Somlak Charoenpot, member of the Siam Society and advisor of Kamthieng House Museum, the group will depart from the Siam Society by bus and return to Bangkok in the evening of the next day. Members will spend one night at the City Park Hotel in Nakhon Ratchasima Province. Sites to be visited include the ruins of Muang Singh, the Phimai National Museum, Phimai Historical Park, Phnom Rung Historical Park and Prasat Muang Tham.

Cost is 6,550 baht (8,550 baht for non-members), covering transportation, hotel accommodation for one night (twin share), four meals, entrance fees to museums and monuments, and other arrangements.
