South Beach joins Preferred Hotels

SINGAPORE  Preferred Hotel Group has signed up South Beach, a upscale hotel due to open in 2015 at a heritage site close to SUNTEC City.
“This landmark property will prove to be one of the best independent hotels to open in Asia … We look forward to working closely with The South Beach team, leveraging on expertise from both sides, as well as Preferred Hotel Group’s global distribution network, to contribute to the success of this new Singapore icon upon its opening in 2015,” said executive vice president, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa Anthony Ross.
The South Beach is a 654-room luxury hotel and part of a mixed-use complex developed at the heritage site formerly comprising of three army blocks and the Non-Commissioned Officers Club.
inside no 6Guests of The South Beach will be eligible to enrol in the iPrefer loyalty programmw, which extends points redeemable for cash-value reward certificates and special benefits such as complimentary internet to members upon every stay at more than 500 participating Preferred Hotel Group locations worldwide.
The new hotel is part of a mixed-use development – South Beach, covering 34,000 square metres in the heart of the city, adjacent to Esplanade MRT Station and connects to Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre via an aero-bridge.
