Centara: Fienbork joins corporate sales

BANGKOK Centara Hotels & Resorts has named Andreas Fienbork as corporate director of sales for Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Eastern Europe.
His responsibilities cover all German-speaking countries in Europe.
His appointment was announced by the group’s chief executive officer, Thirayuth Chirathivat.
A German national, he graduated from a three-year apprenticeship programme in hotel management at Hilton Park Hotel Munich in Germany before becoming, in 1992, managing director of a privately owned Bavarian-style restaurant in Munich.

Subsequent management postings saw him working for Hilton Hotels in Munich, Berlin and Weimar before joining Ringhotels of Munich, Germany’s largest hotel consortium, where he was corporate director of sales.
He has also worked for Accor as director leisure sales for Germany, Austria and Switzerland before moving to New York, where he was senior director of sales for Accor North America.
He subsequently became regional director of sales and distribution for Accor in Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore, based in Jakarta.
