Swiss-Belhotel International opens its first convention and exhibition centre in Pekanbaru

JAKARTA, Indonesia - Swiss-Belhotel International has opened its first convention and exhibition centre, ska Co Ex, in Pekanbaru Riau, Indonesia, an international-standard venue for meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions located in the heart of the city.

The global hospitality management chain will manage the facility, featuring four ballrooms, which can accommodate up to 3,000 guests and five function rooms, which can cater to up to 200 guests.

The grand opening of ska Co Ex took place on the 25th of November 2014, in the Grand Ballroom, marked by percussion played by The Executive Advisor of Minister of Tourism - Mr. Hari Untoro Drajat, who was accompanied by the Mayor of Pekanbaru - Mr. H. Firdaus, ST, MT, Chief of Riau Cultural and Tourism Department - Mr. Said Syarifuddin, PT Citra Citi Pacific and PT Grand Citra Prima Directors - Mr. Erwin Prawijaya and Sawintra Prawijaya, Swiss-Belhotel International Executive Vice President - Mr. James Tam and Senior Vice President of Operations and Development - Mr. Emmanuel Guillard.

Swiss-Belhotel International Chairman and President Mr. Gavin M.
