Jetstar expands Thai flights

HO CHI MINH CITY  Jetstar Group will start a new service to Bangkok from Hanoi, this March, following the launch of services to Bangkok from its base in Ho Chi Minh City, last week.
Jetstar Pacific, the Vietnamese based member of the Jetstar Group now operates daily services between Ho Chi Minh City and Bangkok.
The new service will boost Jetstar Group services to Thailand to 90 return flights a week, with Bangkok now accessible with the Jetstar Group via Ho Chi Minh City, Melbourne (Australia), Fukuoka (Japan) and Singapore.
The new Ho Chi Minh City to Bangkok services are operated by Jetstar Pacific’s fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft configured for 180 passengers. The carrier recently adopted an all A320 fleet that will grow to 10 aircraft over the next few months.
inside no 5Jetstar Pacific’s first international flight between Ho Chi Minh and Singapore commenced 27 October. The airline also announced it would commence daily services between Bangkok and Hanoi from 29 March 2015.
Jetstar Pacific’s entry into international markets allows Jetstar passengers to enjoy the benefits of low fares travel, said Jetstar Pacific Chief Executive Officer Le Hong Ha.
Jetstar Pacific currently operates almost 380 services a week to 10 domestic destinations within Vietnam including Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Vinh, Thanh Hoa, Buon Ma Thuot, Nha Trang, Hue and Phu Quoc and two international service between Ho Chi Minh City and Singapore.
