BANGKOK Nok Air will launch a daily Fly ‘n’ Ride service from Bangkok to Uttaradit starting 16 January using its daily Phitsanulok flight with a bus connection to Uttaradit.
Uttaradit province shares borders with Phitsanulok, Sukhothai, Phrae and Nan. To the east it borders Xaignabouli province in Laos.
The town is about 120 km north of Phitsanulok airport.
Uttaradit, which literally means “the Port of the North”, has a long history as a commercial centre. It is close to the Queen Sirikit Dam, a 250 sq km artificial lake, as well as the world’s largest teak tree, which has a claimed lifespan of 1,500 years.
The town is about 428 km north of Bangkok and 218 km from Laos’ Xaignabouli.
