BEIJING - Australia’s Argyle Hotel Group (AHG) has started the year off with the signing of Argyle Hotel Guiyang in Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou Province in south-western China. This marks the group’s 61st hotel in China and its 7th hotel in Guizhou Province.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Nicolas Coyle, General Manager of the Australian Chamber of Commerce, Beijing, and local government officials.

Argyle Hotel Guiyang will feature 330 expansive guest rooms over 24 floors, with views of Guiyang’s unique mountainous landscape. Distinctive dining options will include Argyle’s flagship Chinese restaurant, Man Ting Fang, an Aromacafez and extensive meeting space. Centrally situated in Guanshanhu District, north west of the city centre of Guiyang, the new district is a hub for government, finance, transportation and commercial services.

“This will be Argyle’s 7th hotel in Guizhou Province and the first in its capital Guiyang,” said Mr. Kevin Zhang, Chief Executive Officer of AHG China. “We look forward to providing oriental hospitality with an Australian touch to this rich and vibrant area.”

Argyle Hotel Group is the largest Australian hotel management group with continued strong growth and expansion throughout China with 61 hotels, 12,357 hotel rooms and US$ 2.8 billion of assets now under management.
